DJ Neil Gain
Neil Gain is a Cape Town-based DJ, electronic music producer, and avid record collector with a lifelong passion for music. Born into a musical family, Neil's journey began as a dancer, crafting mixtapes for school dance crews. This sparked his love for DJing and music production.

In 1995, Neil purchased his first record at DJ Syndicate, marking the start of his vinyl collection and
DJing career. Specializing in House music and its sub-genres, Neil's versatile approach seamlessly blends downtempo, broken beats, left field, and soulful sounds, influenced by Soul Music, House, Disco, and Jazz.

As a respected figure in the local deep house scene, Neil has released tracks on notable labels such as Kalushi Recordings, Nomadic Music, Garden Groove Music, Deep Society Music, and Juicy Lucy Recordings US. He also releases independent music on streaming platforms under the moniker Harmonix ZA. Neil's intimate vinyl nights, Rotation Cape Town, showcase his dedication to promoting the art of vinyl.
