Maxine Ceasar is a South African singer, songwriter, and composer whose soul-stirring vocals and evocative storytelling have earned her a place in the hearts of audiences far and wide. Born into a musical legacy, Maxine grew up immersed in the sounds of jazz, soul, and R&B, deeply influenced by her father, celebrated jazz musician Richard Ceasar.

Her musical journey began alongside her brother, Vaughan Ceasar, as they toured internationally, including a residency aboard the Regent Seven Seas Mariner. In 2018, Maxine expanded her artistic horizons with the release of her first international single, embracing a contemporary sound that pushed creative boundaries. Her songwriting and composition skills have also shone through in various productions, including Tip-ex, the award-winning play that earned Best Production and Best Script at the 2016 Baxter Zabalaza Festival, and 2 Thirds of a Man, a 2022 film recognized across multiple film festivals.
